Q. What is the synopsis?
A. Froxmap is a comedy about ants. Mostly. There are some people in it, but they are funniest with the ants. It has elements of farce and situation comedy and some satire. There is also a hard adventure story base to it all.

Q. I need to know more
A. Damn! Now I will have to read it. Well it‘s a Jack Dagger book. The second fully written one, but there are others on the way. Did you read book one, Dagger First? Well if not, it‘s a comedy adventure. This is as well, but quite different, more adventure, less political digs. Also there is a twist right at the end of this one.

Q. Come on! What‘s it about?
A. Ants. Oh, and a guy called Mazulix who gets kidnapped by drugs barons and loads of silly people like Fielth and Hacker and Kreppenhausen and Nerdi, you wouldn‘t want to meet unless you were in the book. Except Jack Dagger of course, he‘s a hero! ...I suppose I should mention the aardvark, well there would be one, wouldn‘t there.

Q. What the hell happens?
A. Loads and loads. I can‘t tell you much on only a little page. Dagger tries to rescue Mazulix and his froxmaps, hoping thereby to reveal the secret identity of the drugs barons. Nesstown zoo freakily gets rescued from financial ruin by the Department of Ant Studies and Very Secret Electronics at Tel-Anfax and ants accidentally... No, that'd spoil it. I mean, really you can‘t do justice to a whole book of laughs and excitement with a synopsis can you? It would wreck half the jokes if I told you everything.

Q. Try to be more specific.
A. Um, well it starts when this bloke imagines he is about to have sxx (you know) with a piece of music, but the phone goes. And that's when a mystery unfolds and they all go and have fun. The animals at Nesstown zoo start disappearing into the Dung Jungle and the locals believe there are mutant monsters there. It takes Dagger‘s team to find out why. And at the end the bloke has sxx with the music. OK? Specifically it is very roughly 53,000 words long.
   (Sxx is as close as we're allowed to that word which internet content monitors look for.)

Q. Why should anyone want to read it?
A. It‘s funny. It‘s easy to read. It‘s quite exciting in places. And it's very reasonably priced.

Q. I‘m a literary critic, how could I possibly recommend your book?
A. Piss off snob. This needs to be reviewed by a home economics teacher or a car mechanic.

Q. Is there anything for our more sophisticated readers?
A. Three weddings and a fumigation. And some nerds for nerds.

Q. Sounds very cheap.
A. Thank you. So is .......................(computer failure- list of best sellers too long)

Q. Is there no topical humour or satire? Or biting sarcasm?
A. Oh yeah, there is some. There was more in book one, but I used up most of the political satire in that one.

Q. I hope there is no sxx or violence.
A. Liar. Actually Dagger prefers wit to violence. There‘s even less S&V in Froxmap than in Dagger First.

Q. So this is a sophisticated book?
A. You what? As sophisticated as Stan Laurel.

Q. Who?
A. Oh you don‘t know him? Well he was like a Jean Paul Satre of Hollywood.

Q. You expect me to believe this is on a par with the great philosophers and writers?
A. Yes. Oh bugger, my nose keeps hitting the keyboard.

Q. And just who is the author?
A. Evelyn Murray is a nobel prize winner, best selling author, regular chat show guest, ethnic minority lesbian single mother mercy killing saint and professor of sociology and physics (univ Tel-Anfax.) And my nose really is hurting now.
