Infinity Junction

Only 10 years gestation! Infinity Junction, (the novel by Neil Gee, rather than the organisation or websites) was finished as a first draft in 1998. At that time nobody would touch it because of its subject matter, God and creation, and the fact that someone had dared to use it for a satire. Well it was withdrawn for ages as religious tensions grew. Now it has been re-written and properly published for the first time... not for anyone of religious sensitivity! Read about Infinity Junction by Neil Gee
You thought it was difficult... you're right! The Guardian reported in July 2007 that David Lassman, director of the Jane Austen Festival in Bath, has re-written Jane Austen's Pride and Predjudice with a different title and different names, but very little else altered and sent it under a pen name to all Britain's main agents. Guess what, every single one rejected it as unsuitable for publication. In fact none of them even recognised it. Those of us with experience of agents, and believe me there's a huge combined experience within Infinity Junction's ranks, just laughed as we heard that- because it's just so true; it is not how good it is, it's who you know.
One Good Man - This novel by Ruth Rowling, an intriguing tale set in a fearful and uncertain atmosphere in Oslo during the second world war, has the unique distinction of getting a whole page review in Norway's most prominent broadsheet newspaper... and they liked it.

New Budding Bestseller / Budding Author format and low price. Infinity Junction's comprehensive and very practical guide for authors and writers, Budding Bestseller, has gone digital. As production costs rose in printed form we decided to sell it from now on as a .pdf digital file and send it to purchasers as an e-mail attachment. As a result, instead of putting the price up, it has actually been reduced. Not only that but sent by e-mail there is no postage and packing to add. Portable Document Format, .pdf, can be read and printed by virtually all 21st century computers and many older ones too.
BOOKS THAT SLIPPED THE INFINITY JUNCTION NET. There are a number of books whose authors have asked us to be included on our books for sale list, but who failed to respond to e-mails. Was that you? Some of these books have even had web feature pages made for them. However until reliable communications are established we will not be uploading those pages or linking them to our shop. Shame really: some of them are of wide interest, including a well illustrated book about the Appleby Rai horse fair in Yorkshire.
Black Oak. A children's book written rather hurriedly by our managing editor and specially for the competition, was one of only 5 shortlisted out of nearly 900 full length manuscripts entered into the Saga HarperCollins competition 2005-6. The decision to enter was made belatedly and it was the first kids book Neil Gee had ever written. All things considered that wasn't bad for the old man. (Must be old to be allowed to enter a Saga thing.)
It was very loosely based on on my Nesstown Zoo Saga, can you believe; kids and Nesstown Zoo?! Of course I graciously gave my consent.
He says he's trying to find time to re-write it properly and has invented a new stronger storyline for it with a new title. Maybe in 2 years time knowing the speed he writes normally. Evelyn Murray.(Thank you EM, I'm only just old enough! Ed.)
LOST E-MAILS - It's been a bad year for technical failures at Infinity Junction, first our network broke, then we were struck by lightning, then one of our network disc drives failed. Thank you for your patience.HELP us find the best US literary agencies - we are conducting a survey in cooperation with a top UK writers magazine and need your help - comments good or bad wanted, thanks - Survey Page.
